Buddy... it’s February again!!!

According to the Wikipedia:

February is the second month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars. It is the shortest month and the only month with fewer than 30 days. The month has 28 days in common years and 29 days in leap years.

In the Southern Hemisphere, February is the seasonal equivalent of August in the Northern Hemisphere.

February starts on the same day of the week as March and November in common years, and on the same day of the week as August in leap years. February ends on the same day of the week as October every year and January in common years only. In leap years, it is the only month that ends on the same weekday it begins.

According to one of my friends:

February is the month of love.

I wonder why February is the chosen one. My friend says as the Valentine day and lots of other days fall in this month. I really don’t know much about those ‘lots of other days’. Yes I know the Valentine day falls on 14th February and I am not bothering what Wikipedia says about the Valentine day.

Why February? Having only 28 days in calendar, is the month of love. Why not January? I think January could be a strong contender for the month of love, as New Year starts with January and it’s having 31 days. We can start spreading love from the first day of the year itself. As falling into love could be a new year resolution of some people, may be for the sake of stretching that time window from 31 days to 45 days; its 14th February.

Yes February has a really beautiful season of Spring, the transition period between winter and summer. According to Wikipedia, Spring and "springtime" refer to the season, and broadly to ideas of rebirth, renewal and re-growth.

I think lovers know only one season PLH (peace, love and happiness). And for the sake of those lovers if someone from the history has already chosen the day then cheers for the V day, the mid day of February,’ the month of Spring’.

Celebrate the season of Spring with peace, love and happiness.

P.S.: I personally feel days are meant for calendar only.
